Understanding the Five Love Languages

Everyone has a love language.  As women, it is our duty to find out what our partner’s love language is and express it so that our relationship will blossom.  The love languages are as follows:

Words of affirmation
Words of affirmation refer to praise and words of appreciation.  So many of us have felt unloved because our significant other does not praise us enough and say something as simple as thank you.  Do try to say thank you more often in your relationship.  It will go a long way.

Acts of service
For some of us, acts of devotion speak much louder than simple words of love.  So when next your partner is working, take a cup of hot cocoa to him.  Such a simple act of service might mean much more than just saying I love you.

Gift giving
There is something within the human psyche that lets us know that when you love someone, you will give to him/her. Do try to buy your loved one gifts from time to time.  It will go a long way in making him feel loved.

Quality time
Next time your bae is talking to you, drop your phone and give him your undivided attention.

Physical touch
A hug as your bae steps out of the door to work will definitely make him feel loved.
