What really attracts a man to a woman is one question that has always puzzled me. I had always thought that the main thing that attracted a man was a woman’s physical beauty. Therefore, I had to go out and ask my male acquaintances what really attracted them to the opposite sex. Here’s a few of the responses I got.
Presence
Presence in this context means carriage, demeanor, especially if impressive. Presence has a lot to do with charisma, which is the ability of a person to make others like you and make them feel good about themselves. Have you ever seen an A-list model walk into a room? Her carriage is quite impressive and this attracts men to her just like bees to honey. She may be as homely as Alek Wek (who is an A-list model, by the way) but if she knows how to carry herself with dignity and grace, she will definitely be able to attract men to her.
Wit.
An intelligent woman who knows how to make men laugh will surely attract lots of guys to herself. She is a great listener who knows how to keep the conversation flowing and does not give the man the impression that he is talking to a marble statue. Men find this very attractive.
A fun-loving personality.
When you are a lady who gives off vibes of Hey, I’m really enjoying my life! you tend to draw men to you. Men go through a lot of stress and they need a person who makes them feel good about themselves. Who else can make them feel this better than a lady who is happy and having fun with her life?
Emotional maturity.
Men are repelled by drama queens. They are drawn to women who are not prone to fits of rage, crying spells and/or mood swings. They are less emotional by nature and find it hard to relate to such displays of emotion.
A smiling face!
Men are drawn to women who smile. It makes them more approachable and happier. Men too are plagued by insecurity, even though they may not show it. So they are drawn to women who they feel will not reject their advances. My bestie never listens, she’s always bust stronging her face
These are some of the responses I got from my male acquaintances. I would like to add that when you can project the vibe that men will see you as someone who will be of benefit to them, you will find it a lot easier to attract and keep them. This is because most people hang around only those they feel will be of use to them.
