How To Tell If Your Spouse Truly Loves You.

Love is an emotion that is best experienced before it can be described. Most people think that love is all about how you feel for your partner but there is groundbreaking research that proves that love is a complex emotion that involves neurotransmitters in the brain. This is why I don’t believe men who say they love their wives but can still cheat on them. For science has shown that when you are in love, your dopamine levels rise, enabling you to focus your attention and interest on your significant other.

Enough of my ramblings… let’s get down to business! Below are a few signs that your spouse or partner truly loves you.

Your loved one wishes to spend time with you.
This is a key sign that the person truly cares for you. When you are in love, you can’t get enough of the other person and you wish to spend as much of your free time with them. No matter how busy you may be, you still make out time for your loved one. Even if it entails taking a less demanding job that will give you time for your loved one, you do this joyfully.

Boosts your feelings about yourself.
If you are with someone who truly cares for you, you will have increased self-esteem and sense of identity. You feel good about yourself when you’re with the person and when you are away from him/her. This will make you desire to spend as much time with your loved one as possible.

Enjoys reminiscing about the past.
When you are in a relationship with a loved one, the person will sometimes say things like “remember when we…” and launch into a great story from the past. This makes you know that the shared experiences with your loved one are truly important to them and they enjoy reliving enjoyable experiences with you.

Helps you whenever you are in need.
A person who loves you will go the extra mile to help you whenever you are in need. If your husband sees you are busy in the kitchen and helps you out with looking after the kids, this is a sure sign that he loves you.

Talk is cheap. If your loved one constantly makes dramatic proclamations of his love for you but treats you badly, you need to re-evaluate your relationship!
