Her Story
I met Ibukunmi on a trip to Nigeria for my brother's wedding. His cousin Mrs Bonike Odegbami asked me to deliver a message to him regarding helping out with the orientation I was to conduct for students interested in attending the school I work for at his dad's office. When I saw him, I thought he was handsome and that was it. I remember him making fun of how horrible my handwriting and all. After the orientation and amazing trip, I came back to the states but we kept in touch. Couple of months later, he wanted to pay me a surprise visit but his cousin told me about it ( hehehehe). When he got here, we hung out and got to know each other more... That was the beginning of everything. I found myself going to Naija every year and he also visited. His drive for success, commitment to us, his love and affection for me made it easy to continue our relationship despite the distance. We did the long distance thing for some time until he moved down to the states. He asked me to be his wife and of course I said yes!. I am excited about spending the rest of my life with you and being Mrs Odegbami. You complete me.
His Story
When I first met Modupe, i thought she was a bright young girl with a smile that could light up Nigeria. We met in Lagos when she walked into my studio with a message from my cousin living in the US. I had not a clue she would sweep me away with her kindness, love and affection. Though we started off as just friends, it later evolved into a long distance relationship and i didn’t think it would work, she convinced me it would with her untiring effort and dedication to us and i truly appreciate her for that. We made trips back and forth to each other even when we were thousands of miles apart. Now that i have you by me, i never want to let go or say goodbye anymore. I love you.
Some of their adorable pictures.
