Most men think that all women want is a wealthy man, but there have been instances where a woman left her wealthier spouse for her not-so-rich lover. This leaves us wondering: what exactly do women find attractive in men? Here is what research of the dating game has to tell us.
A good sense of humour.
Women love men who make them laugh. This is because it tells them that you have good genes that can be passed onto their children. We all know that humour is a sign of intelligence, as the ability to laugh at oneself and see the comical side of what others would call tragedies is indicative of superior cognitive abilities. Women are not really fazed by the number of degrees you have, but if you know how to make women laugh, it will become a lot easier for you to get them to like you

Great conversation skills.
In the dating game, especially if you are competing with a man who is your equal or your superior in terms of money or physical build, it helps to be a good conversationalist. Women love to talk, and if they find you interesting, it will go a long way in giving you an edge over the competition.

Generosity and kindness.
When it comes to choosing a life partner, it has been repeatedly demonstrated that women are swayed by altruism in men. Not necessarily that the suitor must be rich, but if he can prove that he is the generous type, women are much more likely to choose him over a richer but tight-fisted suitor. This is because evolutionally, women invest more in reproduction and instinctively needs to be sure her mate will be a good provider for her and her offspring.
